Member of Indian Armed forces ie Army/Navy/INDIAN AIRFOCE have right to purchase items for canteen stores departments. Member of Indian armed forces include pensioner’s and all the jawan officers and civilian who are working under the ministry of defence and authorized by the concerned authorities.
Items includes vehicle / Domestic use item TV Refrigerator computer etc. Price of these items are not uniforms for all states. But we observed rates in the state like Haryana Rajsthan are less compare to other state. However price from the market price is always less.
As per the Rule Dealers have to provide the Items whenever it is available with them. But we observed some dealers are doing discrimination with combatant as they intentionally delay in issue of items. As hero Honda Motor Cycle Dealers in Haryana selling motor cycle to civilians but for the canteen they delay more then one month. None availability of vehicle can be justified but non available for only through canteen not understood. If you face such type of problem let us know. We will take up the matter to the appropriate authority with CSD if required. Simply Comments your problems.

ReplyDeletePurchasing of bike form csd is very simple. If you are a serving Army or Navy or Air Force Personal then contatct the showroom of the compay which u want to purchse motorcycle or contact the AFD depot Delhi Cantt. My advise to you is if you are serving than purchase from Haryana that will cost you minimum 2000 less compare to delhi. You can take delivery from Gurgaon showroom in NCR.

ReplyDeleteFor Madhave. To buy bike form rajasthan procedure is very simple. First you get AFD Form signed from you commanding officer. one important think you must check the present rate of bike which you want to buy from the CSD. Suppose you want to buy hero honda than check its cantten price since the price of bike differ from state to state. However as per my knowledge CSD price in Rajasthan and Haryana is the cheapest campare to other state. so from your unit you need your AFD form signed from CO and get a bank draft from any nationalize bank like SBI or PNB etc. Than submit the AFD form along with Bank draft at AFD DEPOT at rajsthan.At AFD Depot they may ask your ID Card and leave certificate so donto forget to take with you when you approach the AFD. They will give you voucher. Submit the voucher to the bike showroom and get your motor cycle. You have to pay only road tax extra. You can also give authority letter to any of your representative for all this action. Thanks

Otherwise , it is not possible. At this age of 50, how can I get a license? Mr Bhatt You can very well collect bike on hehalf of your father but for that you have to take written authority from your father. Ask your dad to send voucher along with duly signed authority for collection of bike or other item on his behalf. Being dependant you can collect csd item but for that written authority is must.

No Bookin Amount for any AFD Item in Defense canteen required. When you choose to buy any AFD Item then on purchase full cost of the item in demand draft to be paid at concern depot and items are to be collected from the concerned agency show room.

ReplyDeleteTo purchase Car from canteen a driving license is not at all required but you have to buy the car in your name not on the name of your dauther. If CSD department is puting condition to have driving license then you must approach soldier board in your area. Because to be owner of car does not necessry that we drive the car ourself. Most of the cases when any lady purchase car she may keep driver. not only lady any one can have driver and license is not at all compulsuoy. However other required fromalities you have to complete to purchase car from CSD. Jai Hind

ReplyDeleteAs you have already taken cotation as 62000 for Yamaha bike that may be correct but to be sure take price list from CSD depot and prepare that amount draft. Question of dealer asking extra 8000 as RTO charges is unreasonable. Dealer can only charge from you extra for accessory and tempoprary Registration only. For registration you have to contact your district RTO. As per my knoledge life time registration charges around 1000 to 2000 as it deffer state to state. At Delhi It is Rs 1500 and at Haryana Rs 1010 only.

ReplyDeleteDear ! Rajashri you can very well purchase AFD item from CSD on your mother’s name. To buy Bike from CSD procedure is very simple. Take your mother pension book then contact your district soldier board for complete procedure. My opinion first choose your choice of motor cycle or other bike then take present price of that bike from CSD authorized dealer from your area. If you are not aware about authorized dealer in your area contact CSD Depot or District Soldier Board for detail. You can save Rs three thousand to ten thousand by purchasing bike from CSD. Complete procedure you will get from your district soldier board or CSD depot as there is same variation in procedure from state to state. Jai Hind !

They will give you voucher which you have to submit it to bike showroom. Whole process take not more than three days.

Dear friend as I already told in case of bike book is not required however you have to checkout with the concerned bike showroom availability status. Bike are always openly available through csd. Some time it happen that the in particular showroom your choice bike may not be available. So before depositing cheque you must checkout the availability in the showroom.

However if you require particular bike rate just go to the showroom which is authorised to sale CSD bikes checkout availability and rate list as per the canteen rates. Be aware some time the show room personnel will ask you to buy bike directly from them. If you are eligible to buy bike from csd then buy it from csd other wise you will loose aprox 5000/

I went to enquire about it and the person over there said once you pay the amount and go to the dealer, the bike will be delivered in 15 days. Whereas in Civil, the same bikes take 6-8 months for Electra and 1+ year for Classic 350. I was confused and did not understand how this whole thing works.

Dear Friend this is the monopoly at some brand bike showroom are doing which is totally illegal. Once you get the availability they have to give you bike in time. If any problem you face than you must complaint about this to the csd depot nearest to you.
